2019 Most Used Mobile Payment App

Until recently, in the USA, the Starbucks payment app has been a surprise winner in the number of users, but it seems to be overtaken by Apple pay.

In Germany, on the other hand, only 7,8 million people have made any proximity mobile payment in 2019. The persistent preference for cash and cards and the security concerns are cited here as primary obstacles.
