Smartphone users are becoming increasingly comfortable scanning OR codes and using near field communication (NFC) technology to complete mobile transactions. More than one billion people worldwide will make an in-store mobile payment in 2020.
Regarding the worldwide popularity, China leads the trend. Denmark comes second, before South Korea.
